Boulogne-sur-Mer Centre

Boulogne-sur Mer Centre is based on 3 divisions:

• a coastal laboratory of the Fishing Resources Department which monitors fisheries in the North sea and the Eastern Channel. Sea cruises are carried and catch statistics are collected to assess stocks and to provide input data to the department's research programmes.

Access to the the coastal laboratory of the Fisheries Resources Department (in French)

• a laboratory of the Coastal Environment Division for the environment monitoring of the coastal zone going from Belgian to the Bresle river.

Access to the Coastal Environment laboratory (in French)

• a water circulation tank managed by the Marine Technology and Information Systems Division. The Applied Hydrodynamics unit leads researches on submarine devices and new offshore concepts.
