In late 2011, a third special issue in  Journal of Sea Research (volume 66, issue 4) with the final AquaDEB results will be published.

The 3rd issue of "Dynamic Energy Budget theory for metablic organisation" (Cambridge University Press) by S.A.L.M. Kooijman has been published in early 2010.

Special issue 2 of Journal of Sea Research
56 (2006) was completely devoted to applications of DEB theory to bivalves. A second special issue of Journal of Sea Research with AquaDEB results at mid-term of the project appeared in October 2009. In 2010, a theme issue on DEB theory and its applications of the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society entitled "Developments in DEB theory and its applications" has appeared.

DEB-codes
for some species are available (i.e. downloadable) on this website (see products).

Would you like to start reading about DEB theory with some "easy" DEB-papers?!
Below are some suggestions of selected publications:
Kooijman (2001): "Quantitative aspects of metabolic organization: a discussion of concepts"
van der Meer (2006): "An introduction to dynamic Energy Budget (DEB) models with special emphasis on parameter estimation"
Sousa et al. (2007):"From empirical pattenrs to theory: a formal metabolic theory for life"

To know more about the DEB theory applied to bivalves, look at the course entitled "Ecophysiologie des mollusques marins : bilan énergétique & modélisation" prepared by S. Pouvreau.
