BIOCEAN database is open to anyone. Several ways to access data are available:

Taxonomical and biogeographical data

Biogeographical data are opened through different web portal:

  • OBIS,  Ocean Biogeographique Information System, 
    CoML (Census of Marine Life) web portal. Users Guide Access.
  • EurOBIS, the European Ocean Biogeographique Information System.
  • ERMS, the European Register of Marine Species,  MarBEF portal.
  • GBIF, Global Biodiversity Information Facility.

Metadata

  •  Cruise reports : cruises' reports as well as dive reports are available on a chronological order. These reports relate our oceanographic cruises. 
  • Search a species or a taxa in our database
