Main activities:

Tests and hydrodynamic studies on scale models of vehicle towed on the sea bottom (fishing gears), floating, or anchored in sub-surface or at the surface (seismic instruments).

A particular attention is paid on fluid/structure interaction problems. Experimental studies on vortex and wake effects on marine risers can be conducted.

This facilities is also well designed for trial on marine current energy converters.
