Application
for studies in territorial waters and economic zones of foreign countries |
| To carry out a cruise in a
foreign country's waters, a completed application file for authorization
should be sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) who will then pass
it on to the competent authorities in the country(ies) in question, 6
months before the start of the cruise. Ifremer's
Direction des Moyens Navales (DMON) of Ifremer ensures the sending of the
file to the MAE for all ships managed by Ifremer. For this the
files drawn up by the chief scientist must be sent by e-mail to the DMON /
Brest at least 6 1/2 months before the start of the cruise.
