The Ifremer regularly organizes formations for laboratories on the use of the means of the Fleet (data-processing, scientific software, equipment).

These trainings take place in the Center of Brest and are given on a data-processing platform of the Fleet which lays out the equipment (work stations, tracers…) homogeneous with that of the ships.

The trainings concerning the software can also be given directly in the laboratories of the users.

The data-processing platform of the Fleet

Formations suggested: :

  • Data-processing of the ships initiation (concepts basic, microprocessing, email, software real times) - duration: 2,5 days.
        
  • Use of the software CARAIBES (Greeting structure, processing of bathymetry, processing of the reflectivity) - duration: 4 days

  • Use of software MOVIES+ / FishView (processing of the echograms, cartography of detections, coupling with parameters annex) - duration: 2 days
       
  • Use of the software ADELIE (filtering of navigation, realization of picture mosaics) - duration: 1 day

The planning of these formations is very flexible, a formation is decided as soon as there is a sufficient number candidates for a course (5 people).
