Tuna fishing and Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs)

An international symposium on Fish Aggregating Devices (FADs) in tropical areas was held in Martinique, in the Lesser Antilles, from october 15 to october 19, 1999.

This meeting was co-organized by IFREMER (Institut Français de Recherche pour l’Exploitation de la Mer), IRD (previously ORSTOM, Institut de Recherche pour le Développement) and ENSAR (Ecole Nationale Supérieure Agronomique de Rennes).

It profited of the financial support of the Regional Council of Martinique, of the General Council of Martinique, and of the European Union, IFOP funds.
