Observations and modeling of the large-scale movement of the Mediterranean Water and Labrador Sea Water in the eastern North Atlantic Ocean

The Eurofloat project is a partnership of scientists with a common goal of investigating the circulation of deep water masses in the eastern North Atlantic Ocean. A companion project, ARCANE, includes a focus on the flow along the eastern boundary in the region under study.

For those who are interested in scientific questions and strategies we provide a more detailed description of the scientific background of Eurofloat. Also we want to present some technical aspects and logistics concerning Eurofloat. Sound source information is available for those who are interested.
