Title of the Doctoral Thesis : "Ore-Forming Hydrothermal Solutions of the Ocean: Formation, Plumes, and Ecosystems"
From 2004 till now -Professor, St.Petersburg State Mining Institute-Technical University and VNIIOkeangeologia - leading scientist

Participated in some Russian and two international cruises :
- 2001. Atlantis (USA) – Alvin submersible investigation of the hydrothermal fields on the Mid-Atlantic Ridge ;
- 1996. Melville (USA) – ARGO II and AMX/DSL 120 survey of the axial zone of the superfast-spreading East Pacific Rise, 17° to 18° S.
